The Ohio University Innovation Center, the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce and the Ohio Small Business Development Center are partnering on a workshop for businesses in Southeast Ohio, and beyond, offered to encourage small firms to take advantage of the powerful tools available to firms, but often underutilized in the region.

Google Adwords is the most powerful advertising platform in the world, with analytics never before available to small businesses. Increasingly more and more of the world’s advertising is being done online, with online advertising accounting for more than all broadcast ad spend in 2013. Large enterprises have invested in online advertising and have won big.

Adwords and other Online ads outpace broadcast highlights the new dominance of online advertising

As the uncontested leader in online advertising, with the most accountable and sophisticated systems for targeting customers and tracking customer engagement with web sites, Google has developed the Google Partners program.

Partners help extend the tools that enterprise-class firms have already adopted to small and medium-sized businesses. The Innovation Center, The Athens Area Chamber of Commerce, and Root Deeper Marketing (Athens’ own Google Partner, ), will be hosting a live-stream event with global experts on the Google Adwords platform to share the high-points which can help business owners and managers determine what online marketing tools might be best for them.
